THE JOY OF TOURING . . .
We had a fantastic time on our E-type tour to France, Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium in 2005. It is events like this that make owning a classic car so much more fun. Owning an old car is far better than just having funds invested in the bank, and using the car is like taking the interest on your money, only a lot more fun.
I must stress that there is one element to our tours that no advert or brochure can ever convey. It is the company, the friendships that are created, the camaraderie, and the humour. Our first Tour in 2005 well and truly underlined this. The countryside was magnificent, the routes were stunning, the hotels were tremendous, the weather was superb and it was brilliantly organised by E-type Club member Richard Galvani. But, in spite of all these fabulous aspects, the magic ingredient was the company.
