The E-type Club Website
Among the website's many areas, the aspect of which we are most proud is the wealth of information available for our club members. As a member, you can log into our Members' Area using a password provided by the Club. Once inside, you can view technical articles and videos as well as being able to read magazine back issues. You can also access the fantastic Representatives' News and Events section and get to know your local Area Representative.

We feel the discounts for members are a valuable service which can easily pay for membership and, as time allows, we will gradually expand the scheme. Suggestions are, of course, always welcome. I am afraid this only applies to UK members but the RAC are now offering not just 30% off new membership but a 50% discount. That cannot be bad!
E-types for Hire
John Robinson our Durham and North East Representative has two Series 3 E-types, a white roadster and a dark blue coupe which they hire out through the hotel for their 'Classic Car Breaks'. One of these E-types also took part in the Jaguar heritage trip from Coventry to Geneva last March.
They have also added to the hire fleet for this year a 1976 Carrera 3.0 Targa and a 1981 Mercedes 380SL.
The hire season runs from May to October and they already have bookings and considerable interest. Details and pictures can be found on their website
Focus on the Representatives
Get to know your Area Representative. If you are a member, take the time to visit the Members' Area and have a look at the Representative News & Events page, or even find your Area Representative, click on their name and see if there are currently any Representative-organised events coming up in your area.
Pin Your E-type On The Map
Visit the E-Type UK/E-type Club Forum and pin your E-type on the map. The Forum has been encouraging E-type owners to place a pin where they are in the world with a few details about their cars. Minimal information is required but it's quite fun to see how many E-types there are in your country and area.
