EVENT REPORT – Club Day 2016

A big thank you to all Club members who were able to make the Club Day and, or Sunday Drive this year.  The team at Club HQ very much enjoyed the event.  It was also great to see so many of you over the weekend.

Below are some photos from the event (there are also additional images on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/JaguarEtypeClub/photos/?tab=album&album_id=10154401188264612) and some very kind comments from many of those who were able to attend.  We hope to see you next year!

Club Member comments from the event

Dear all,
Thanks for a great E-type Club Weekend! My old lady held out very well and it was a pleasure meeting you all and meet all other enthousiasts.
Special thanks to Julie and Philip who let us ruin your orchard.
I’ll be back…

Morning Philip
Just a quick email to thank all involved at Club HQ for another lovely day at Hilltop. Although we could only make the Saturday, it was most enjoyable. The weather was superb and I enjoyed catching up with lots of familiar faces and meeting new ones too! Looking forward to next year already
Best Wishes
Simon Johnson

Please pass on our thanks to the teams involved in the Club Weekend which we much enjoyed and the comedian was a star turn enjoyed by all !!
Well done and we look forward to 2017,
Kind regards
Stuart and Jennifer

Dear All
And for this I mean everyone involved over the last few days.
Tremendous is all I can say. From the informality of the day event, to the evening with excellent food and great entertainment and then of course the wonderful run into glorious countryside. on Sunday. What more can I say other than well done and thank you!
No other car club could do that and produce such friendliness and warmth- and not even a committee in sight.
It was great to see XK owners mingling with E Type owners. The common bond of the iconic brand and the wonderful 6 cylinder engine unites us all ( with apologies to those with the silky smooth 12 cylinder version! )The highlight for me was driving CRY – the only other E Type I’ve driven apart from my own. My offer of £95k still stands Philip!
Kind Rs and many thanks again

Dear Louise,

Thank you for organising an excellent day on Saturday.
It was my first event since I bought my ‘improver’ in February, and very enjoyable.
The mix of people and stands, and the beautiful setting (the view from the toilets was amazing!!) made it a great event and I learnt lots.
Thanks again,
Nick Smith
