Come along to The Fox & Bird, Sager Place, East Ryde, NSW 2113 at 10:00 for coffee every second Sunday, writes Nick Jacques, to chat about our cars and learn from each other’s experiences. Ample parking in Sager Place (rear to kerb). The coffee shop is small, but with folding chairs and table we can sit out on the lawn.

Austria – Two-Day Spring Tour, Innviertel, June 9-11

Details from Christian Mitterdorfer. Canada – Ottawa Jaguar Club Concours, June 11 Member John Blais of the Ottawa Jaguar Club invites all Club
members to join him and Canada Representative Daniel Thompson at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum in Cumberland, Ontario, Canada. The Museum is a recreation of a rural village from the 1920s with period buildings, artefacts, agricultural machines and farm
animals. The Ottawa Club has about 100 members, 26 with E-types, many of which will be present.

UK Dorset – E-type & XK Clubs Gathering, July 16

Starting at sculptor Simon Gudgeon’s stunning ‘Sculpture by the Lakes’ venue for either a picnic or lunch in their new cafeteria, followed by a self-guided tour of this truly original and memorable exhibition, the group will then undertake a drive around Dorset ending at a final tea-stop destination to be decided! Please contact Paul Abadjian for more information. If you would like to make a ‘Dorset weekend’ of it, Paul can suggest accommodation.

High Peak Run, UK August 6

This year’s High Peak Run will take place on the 6th August, starting once again at Tissington Hall in the pretty village of Tissington (DE6 1RA) at around 11am, with breakfasts available in the tearooms from 10:30. We will venture out into some of the finest scenery in the area and some fabulous driving roads, making a couple of interesting stops along the way (including a working windmill), before a late lunch at a suitable location, yet to be decided. The Peak District, for all it’s spectacular scenery, has also seen a great deal of industry come and go over the years; this run will be a celebration of this with the route taking us past many examples from past and present. We always have a great time on our runs, so please come and join in the fun.

Anyone wishing to join us should please contact Richard Eaton.

There is no charge for the run itself, but of course any entry fees or meals will be on your own account.
