UK Cheshire & Derbyshire – Great North Run, May 7

We have moved the date to avoid clashing with Drive it Day events and (hopefully) enjoy better weather, explains Brian Green. Mike Riley has come up with another great c80-mile route of scenic Cheshire countryside, quite different from last year, but once again based at the Windmill Pub on the A556 Chester Rd, just west M6 J19, where coffee will be available at the start and lunch at the end. A route book and final instructions will be emailed to all who register by April 30 or, if pre-arranged, a printed route book can be had at the start for a small charge to cover printing costs. The route book will be tulip diagrams with easy-to-follow instructions: no great navigational skill is required. Everyone is welcome and there is no entry fee, but we need to know numbers so please register with Mike Riley, rileymike01@gmail.com, tel 07831 408041, or Brian Green, brianjohngreen@btinternet.com, tel 01829 261522 or 07969 450078.
